Responsibilities
- Build underwriting and pricing models from payroll and employment data.
- Design fraud-detection systems for claims and enrollment.
- Analyze layoff and labor-market data to improve risk models.
- Partner with engineering to productionize models safely.
- Document and validate models for regulatory review.
Requirements
- 4+ years in data science or ML, ideally in fintech/insurance.
- Strong Python/SQL and statistical modeling skills.
- Experience with consumer financial data.
- Ability to explain model decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
- US-based.
