Responsibilities
- Design the application, quote, and claims flows end-to-end.
- Partner with engineering and underwriting to ship polished, compliant experiences.
- Build and maintain Cushion's design system.
- Conduct user research with professionals navigating layoffs.
- Translate complex insurance concepts into clear, human interfaces.
Requirements
- 4+ years of product design experience, ideally in fintech or insurance.
- Strong portfolio of shipped consumer products.
- Fluency in Figma and modern design tooling.
- Ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
- US-based or able to overlap 4+ hours with US Eastern time.
